Otherwise, you'll notice summer-like humidity and temperatures that will be close to record highs in the upper 80s.

Expect rain throughout the day Friday with occasional thunderstorms and highs in the mid 70s. Rainfall since Thursday morning has been heaviest in western Fort Bend County and parts of Wharton and Matagorda with 3 inches totals in spots.
A flood watch will remain in effect for Fort Bend, Brazoria, Matagorda, Wharton, Jackson and Calhoun Counties until 7 p.m. unless canceled earlier by the National Weather Service. Expect rain throughout the day Friday with occasional thunderstorms and highs in the mid 70s. Overall accumulations could range from about 2-3" in Harris County, 2" in Montgomery and potential for 3-5" in a few spots in Brazoria, Fort Bend and all areas south and west of those counties through Friday night.
