As expected, a weak disturbance brought a few light rain showers to the area last night and this morning. The rain, however, has mostly been confined to the coastline. These showers are quickly racing to the north and east with clearing skies expected throughout our Sunday. Highs should reach the low 60s with a slow warming trend expected the rest of the week. Dry times with dominate as well with abundant sunshine expected through, at least, Thursday. Our next reasonable rain chance arrives on Friday as another strong cold front is expected to move through the area.

We are expecting more showers Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Look for gradual clearing Sunday afternoon with a high in the lower 60s. A quiet pattern follows with seasonal temperatures until the end of the week when we see the return of some 70s in the afternoons. A front next weekend could bring some rain with it.

Skies, which were clear this morning, will quickly become cloudy with light rain chances increasing as we head into the evening. Temperatures will likely only warm into the mid and upper 50s on Saturday, but Sunday should be a few degrees warmer. Rain chances will also go away by Sunday afternoon. 70s are not too far off, either, as we?re expecting highs to reach at least 70 degrees by Thursday.

The Houston area will have a very stable weather pattern over the next several days. The temperatures will be a little chilly through Friday, but it will warm a little over the weekend. There isn?t any rain in the forecast until sometime later next week.

We're waking up to chillier temperatures, but with skies clearing throughout the morning the sun should help to warm things a bit. To counter the sun's heating, however, will be a north wind felt all day. We'll likely see highs close to 60, but many areas may remain in the mid and upper 50s. Our dry weather will continue into the weekend. High temperatures will likely remain below our seasonal average of 67 degrees, with our mornings starting off chilly, in the low 40s.

Once the next line of showers moves through SE Texas, we are in for several days of sunshine. It will be cool Thursday and Friday, but over the weekend we have highs back in the 60s. The weather pattern looks very stable into the middle of next week.

Today is shaping up to be a washout with showers and storms likely through at least mid afternoon. A few isolated spots could receive more than 2 inches of rain and there is a slight chance for a severe storm. Our weather will clear from west to east by this evening and will usher in several days of cool, dry conditions with lows in the 30s and 40s and highs in the 50s and 60s.

A front will push across the Houston area on Wednesday, and rain with a little thunder is likely in the morning. Up to an inch of rainfall is possible and the temperatures will cool for a few days. The rest of the week looks sunny with chilly mornings and the weekend looks rather nice with highs back in the 60s.
