Friday is set up to be another quiet and warm day around Southeast Texas. The weekend could see some afternoon showers across Houston with temperatures still running higher than normal. The next cold front should arrive mid week with more rain chances and slightly cooler temps.

Temperatures continue to reach above seasonal norms in the afternoon. A weak front next week could break this pattern with rain and cooler temperatures.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be transitionary days, as temperatures warm and humidity increases a bit. We'll be watching for our next cold front, which looks to arrive toward the end of next week.
