Dia Tisdel-Pickens of Step and Sip created a "workout and toast up" experience after trying New Year's resolutions to give up alcohol and get fit but finding the experience miserable and difficult to maintain long-term. Instead, she has found a happy medium, being able to make healthy choices and drinking in moderation while still achieving her fitness goals. Her monthly "Step and Sip" events feature themed step routines with a live DJ followed by post-workout cocktails. Dia also holds weekly "zero-proof" classes for fitness maintenance.
