The University of Houston and Texas Southern University men's basketball teams will compete in the NCAA Tournament.

Texas Southern University Tigers will play North Carolina Central Eagles in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament on March 14 in Dayton, Ohio.

The University of Houston is a 6-seed in the South Region and opens Thursday against 11-seed San Diego State in Wichita, Kansas.
