Astros pitching prospect suspended for 50 games

The Astros pitching prospect, Forrest Whitley, has been suspended for 50 games.

Whitley received the suspension without pay for violating the Minor League Drug Prevention and Treatment Program.

Whitley is currently on the roster of Double-A Corpus Christi.

His suspension will begin at the start of the 2018 Texas League season.
