Young child drowns in northeast Houston
Police say a young child has drowned in northeast Houston.
Officers with the Houston Police Department are investigating the drowning on Lakeside Terrace. The boy was found around 4:20 p.m. and taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Police say the child had been reported missing from his home about five minutes before he was found.
