Woman's body found in abandoned church in Liberty County
KENEFICK, Texas (FOX 26) - Liberty County deputies say the body of a deceased woman was found in an abandoned church in Kenefick on Wednesday morning.
According to the Liberty County Sheriff's Office, the caretaker of the abandoned church located in the 5900 block of FM 1008 discovered the badly decomposed body of the fully clothed woman on the floor of the church.
Cause of death and the woman's identity have not been confirmed. An autopsy has been ordered and the investigation continues.
