Woman shot, killed in car in Fort Bend County

Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers has increased a reward to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest in the death of a woman found fatally shot in her car on December 5.

Authorities identified the victim as 38-year-old Lieu Nguyen. Deputies responded to call around 7:40 p.m. near the intersection Addicks-Clodine Road and Bissonnet and found Nguyen deceased in a Toyota Camry. 

The Galveston County Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an autopsy.

"If anyone has information concerning this murder case, they need to contact Crime Stoppers," said Sheriff Troy Nehls in a statement. "Someone out there knows about this case. Call Crime Stoppers and help solve this heinous crime."

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (281)342-TIPS. Information leading to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect in the case could earn you a $10,000 cash reward.
