Woman disappears while searching for missing brother; van found burned

The van belonging to a woman who disappeared while searching for her missing brother was found burned and abandoned on a Galveston beach.

Dina Escobar went missing just days after her brother, Rogelio "Roy" Escobar, disappeared. Rogelio was last seen by family members on the afternoon of August 26. His sister went looking for him Tuesday, and that's when she and her white van also disappeared.

On Sunday, volunteers with Texas Equusearch looked for the siblings in the area where the van was found, although rain slowed search efforts.
