Vehicle chase ends with suspects shooting toward deputy constables

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Deputy constables were forced to shoot toward at least one suspect who fired gunshots in their direction in northwest Harris County. The gunshots were fired following the end of a vehicle chase on Gears Road near Walters Road.

The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office reported that the driver of a silver Toyota was taken into custody, but deputy constables were searching for a male who was wearing all black clothing. A female at a nearby bus stop was wounded after a bullet fired from one of the suspect's weapons struck her. Another person was taken into custody, but another suspect has not been accounted for.
