HUMBLE, Texas (FOX 26) — Deputies have captured the suspected driver in a crash that injured fellow Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputy Jeremy Thomas and Sergeant Chris Garza. Prosecutors have accepted two charges of failure to stop and render aid with serious bodily injury against 22-year-old Nathan Macklin Robinson Jr.

One deputy was left in critical condition following the accident on Old Humble Road near Homestead Road in northeast Harris County. That deputy was taken to Ben Taub Hospital.

The other deputy was taken to Houston Northwest Medical Center. Both deputies were off duty and riding motorcycles.

Law enforcement officers were conducting a search for two males who left the accident scene. A surveillance video image released by the HCSO showed those two males. One of them was wearing all black and was either wearing sandals or walking with bare feet. The other male was wearing a white shirt and dark pants with a white stripe.
