HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Two more flu-related deaths have been reported in Harris and Galveston Counties.
Harris County Public Health confirmed a third flu-related death on Wednesday. The victim has been identified as an adult. No word on the age or gender.
The Galveston Health Department reported the second flu-related death in the area. Officials say a 48-year-old woman died in late January. She also had other existing health conditions.
A total of 10 flu-related deaths have been reported in the Houston area this flu season.
Doctors say you can catch the flu multiple times because there are different strains. They urge people to get the flu shot.
