A high-speed chase skidded into a high-flying ending in Louisiana.  The driver tried speeding away from officers doing more than 115 miles. Deputies report that they tried to stop the driver of truck for speeding, but the passenger attempted a quick getaway.

Apparently, the driver led officers in an unforgettable chase that ended when the truck hit spike strips. The driver then tried to swerve away, and that's when the truck went airborne.  The truck actually ended up landing on the roof of a car in a restaurant parking lot. The woman who was in the car at the time was able to climb out of her car unharmed. Amazingly, the driver of the truck was unhurt.  Deputies say that the suspect was an escaped work-release participant. He's currently back in custody.
