Turkey says a Russian warplane that strayed into its airspace during a mission in Syria has been shot down after ignoring repeated warnings. The crew of the fighter apparently ejected, but there's no further word.Also, NATO says it will hold an emergency meeting today in Brussels on the downing of the plane. U.S. army officials say, four people are dead after a helicopter crash at Fort Hood. A statement from the Fort Hood public affairs office says a UH-60 helicopter carrying four crew members crashed Monday in the northeast portion of the sprawling Texas military post. Emergency crews reported the four crew members were found dead.

One person is dead after a shooting at a southwest Houston apartment complex. Last night, police say someone opened fire wounding four others at an apartment on Bissonnet at Renwick. Investigators say the shooter got away. While that homicide investigation was underway some suspected robbers stole a jar of tip money at a Taqueria on Bissonnet. But, ended up walking into the arms of law enforcement. The two men and two women hit up the restaurant last night. When they tried to get away, they didn't realize officers were just down the street investigating a homicide. The women were captured The two men got away.
