A man is recovering in Memorial Hermann hospital after being shot three times overnight, at a southwest Houston bus stop. It happened at holly hall street and knight road. Police say the gunman walked up to the victim, and shot him in the abdomen, hip and arm. The suspect got away.

 

Police are searching for the person or persons behind a burglary in southwest Houston.

            It took place around 11:30 last nights, at the salon and spa wholesalers near Fairhill and Westpark. Investigators say the thieves took bottles, containing some type of chemical.

 

Mexican officials say they have arrested six people, who helped drug lord, El Chapo, break out of prison.

            Joaquin Guzman escaped back in July. Officials say the suspects now in custody include a man, said to be the mastermind of the escape.

            El Chapo's brother-in-law and two airport pilots were also arrested.

The empire state building is lit up in NYPD blue to honor fallen officer Randolph holder.

            Holder was shot and killed in Harlem on Tuesday night, by a fleeing gunman.

            Tyrone Howard has been charged with first-degree murder.

            holder is the fourth New York city police officer to be killed, in the line of duty, over the past 11 months.
