Thirteen-year-old boy victim of a hit and run, driver on the loose

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A 13-year-old boy was hit by a car on Sunday evening, and the car kept going.

Harris County Sheriff's Deputies say it happened on 7 Mile Ln at Wardmont in north Houston around 7:00 p.m.

The boy was walking on Sunny St at 7 Mile Ln when a pickup truck hit him and took off.

He was taken to a local hospital unconscious, but alive.

The driver is still on the loose.

Police believe they may have surveillance video of the incident or the truck from a neighboring home

The boy is said to be in critical condition.
