If you use the Spotify streaming feature for music, a new feature is in the works. Subscribers will soon be able to mute by artist. You can filter them out of your library, playlists, and even from the radio functions. The feature is apparently already in the testing phase.

Google Maps are reportedly working on a speed trap alert. AndroidPolice.com says camera icons will pop up, showing areas where other users can report police or cameras. Google owns Waze, which already allows users to report police ahead.

What's App no longer lets you forward messages to more than five people as a way of fighting rumors and the spread of fake news. The maximum before was twenty. The app has more than a billion users.

Facebook is launching a petition feature called Community Actions. It lets you notify local and national authorities of things you would like to see happen and then drum up support for it. You can tag relevant organizations and authorities on the petitions and create events and fundraising efforts. The feature became available in the U.S. on Jan. 21.
