Teen stabbed waiting in line at Poppa Burger in north Houston
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police have arrested a man in the case of a teen who was stabbed as he was waiting to place an order at a a popular burger establishment in north Houston.
Officers arrived to Poppa Burger on North Main Street near Harrington Street at around 4:25 p.m. Tuesday after someone reported a 19-year-old male was stabbed several times in the back while standing in line.
Witnesses who knew the suspect told police that he was staying at a bunkhouse nearby. Houston police arrested the suspect, later identified as 30-year-old Michael Kenneth Jones.
Bond was set at $30,000 for Jones who was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
