Teen killed in apparent accidental shooting

Authorities believe two teenagers were playing with a loaded gun when it went off and one of the teens was shot.

Deputies with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office were called to a home in Humble early Sunday morning. A girl called 911 saying her brother had been shot.

Investigators learned that the 17-year-old boy and another teen boy had been handling the gun when it went off.

The name of the teenager has not been released. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
