Teen arrested for allegedly pointing pellet gun at cars near elementary school

A teenager was arrested for allegedly pointing a pellet gun at passing cars near Oak Forest Elementary School.

Harris County Precinct 4 deputy constables responded to several reports of an unknown male pointing a gun at passing cars and walking to the school. Oak Forest Elementary school was placed on lockdown as a precaution. Deputy constables found the 15-year-old boy male in the 19200 block of Kings Park Way. According to Precinct 4, the gun was found in the teen's waistband and authorities determined it was a pellet gun with "a very realistic design".

The teen was taken into custody and charged with deadly conduct.
