Teal is the new orange for children with allergies

HOUSTON, TX - Teal is the new orange for children with allergies! The Teal Pumpkin Project is giving way to a safer Halloween for millions of children across the nation.  The awareness campaign was started by the group Food Allergy Research and Education or FARE. One in 13 children have food allergies.  Leaving a teal pumpkin outside signals the home is handing out non-food treats like stickers and light sticks! You can paint the pumpkin or get one at a local craft store!
