SWAT scene involving burglary suspect barricaded in NW Houston home ends, police say

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A SWAT standoff involving a burglary suspect has ended, according to police.

The Houston Police Department’s Hostage Negotiations Team and SWAT team responded to a call about a barricaded suspect in northwest Houston.

Police say the incident took place at 7000 Bent Branch.

According to HPD, the incident began as a burglary at a residence about 12:30 p.m.
