State lawmaker reacts to Doug Jones Senate election win
For the first time in 25 years, Alabama elects a Democrat to the Senate. Doug Jones has beaten embattled Republican Roy Moore in the special election.
It was an extremely close race, but Jones takes the seat vacated by now Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Lots of eyes were on this election nationwide after Moore was accused of sexual misconduct with teenage girls back when he was in his 30s.
Now Republicans just have a 51 to 49 Senate majority in the Senate. That leaves just one vote to spare if Dems stick together. Texas State Representative Ron Reynolds is on the Factor with reaction.
