Starbucks closes stores to conduct anti-bias training

Around 8,000 Starbucks locations closed their doors this afternoon to conduct racial bias training for its employees.

The company said it worked with activists and organizations like the NAACP to come up with the curriculum for the training. This all happened after a manager called the police on two black men who were inside waiting on a business partner.

On the Factor to talk about this issue is Dr. Creshema Murray from the University of Houston Downtown.
