Six men arrested in undercover operation for soliciting sex from minors
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Six men, including two teachers, were arrested in an undercover operation that targeted adults who were soliciting sex from teenage girls. The Harris County Precinct One Constable's Office say the men used social media to arrange to have sex with undercover officers posing as 14- and 15-year-old girls.
More than 75 officers and several agencies, including the Harris County Precinct One Constable's Office, were involved in the operation.
Harris County Pct. 1 Constable Alan Rosen says two of the suspects had access to children as Houston residents Fahad Ghani Siddiqui and Eleno Garza were both former teachers.
Garza was particularly troubling to authorities because he was a substitute teacher for the Pasadena Independent School District, had a day care license and worked at a YMCA in Waco.
Rosen says investigators are trying to determine whether the suspects may have contacted minors outside of their operation.
The following six suspects were identified:
- Israel Garcia, 28, of Humble
- Ricardo Reyes, 33, of Houston
- Brandon Knarr, 38, of Houston
- Fahad Ghani Siddiqui, 39, of Houston
- Jeremy Kyle Chapman, 25, of Dickinson
- Eleno Garza, 26, of Houston
