Serial rapist taken off the streets, police fear more victims

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - The man accused of being a serial rapist has been taken off the streets, but investigators believe there are more victims out there.

33-year-old Marquis Tate was arrested on June 1st after investigators say victims identified him through a photo lineup.

Houston Investigator Monica Fortson says DNA evidence also helped them to identify Tate, who is now charged with 7 cases of felony sexual assault.

Tate remains in the Harris County jail.
