Search is on for inmate who escaped while in handcuffs outside Harris County jail

HOUSTON, TX - The search is underway right now  for inmate who escaped while in handcuffs outside Harris County jail. The prisoner was being transported to jail for a misdemeanor.  He was handcuffed, but was somehow able to escape around San Jacinto and Baker.  HPD and HCSO launched a search for him, but the suspect was able to evade capture.
