Sea turtles rescued from cold water recovering in Galveston

Last week's cold snap stunned green sea turtles along the Texas Gulf Coast. Rescuers saved thousands of them from death. Galveston's NOAA Fisheries Lab took in close to 300.

With the help of Moody Gardens, the turtles should be back swimming in the Gulf of Mexico by Monday afternoon. About 175 of the green sea turtles will be released into warmer waters at North Padre Island.

FOX 26 photojournalist Darlene Janik Faires shows us how they're doing.
