CHANHASSEN, Minn. (KMSP) - A small group of family, friends and musicians held a private memorial for Prince Saturday afternoon at Paisley Park in Chanhassen, Minn.
The 57-year-old was found dead at his home and recording studio on Thursday morning. His body was released to his family Friday afternoon and his remains were cremated, according to a statement from the singer’s publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure.
“We ask for your blessings and prayers of comfort for his family and close friends at this time,” Noel-Schure said.
