Police seek suspect in beating death of man in northeast Houston

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police are looking for a man they say beat another man to death with a club in northeast Houston over a money dispute.

Police say the victim was at the counter of a food mart on Liberty Road when the suspect came in yelling about money the victim owed, he hit the victim with a 2-foot club and dragged him into the parking lot.

The man was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Police released surveillance photos of a suspect in the man's death. Anyone with information is asked to call HPD Homicide at 713-308-3600.
