Police search for two suspects in Sacramento college campus shooting

UPDATE (9:03 pm CST)

The Sacramento City College campus has been cleared.

Police are now looking for two suspects, but witness accounts have not been consistent.

The victim that died was a student.

Police say three people have been shot, and one of them has died, near the baseball field on the campus of Sacramento City College.

Classes were in session at the time of the shooting.

The campus was put on lockdown Thursday night as police searched for a suspect. Classes have also been canceled for the evening.

Sacramento police say that of the three male victims, one has been confirmed dead, and the other two have been taken to area hospitals. One of those victims is said to have suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

Sacramento City College has a student body of about 25,000.
