Police investigating after body found in Hermann Park lake

HOUSTON - A body has been found in a pond at Hermann Park Wednesday morning.

Police say the body was discovered around 10 a.m. in the park's McGovern Lake, which is known for featuring paddleboats and fishing.

The deceased has been identified as a male.

Houston Police Department homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
