Police chase ends in collision in NW Harris County

MYFOXHOUSTON - A police chase ends with a collision after a domestic disturbance call in northwest Harris County.

At 6 pm Sunday, Pct. 4 deputy constables received a call regarding a domestic disturbance call at 19200 Valiant Woods. Once deputies arrived, they found a couple involved in a dispute at a birthday party. The woman reportedly saw her husband injuring a 4-year-old child.

Shortly thereafter, the suspect took a vehicle and lead police on a chase, where he collided with a bystander's vehicle near Kuykendahl at Louetta.

The suspect then fled on foot.

The adult, teenager, and 3-year-old that were in the bystander's vehicle were not seriously injured.

The suspect was caught, and transported to an area hospital.

He faces charges of felony evading and felony injury to a child.
