Parents to vote on Katy ISD 2018-2019 school calendar today
KATY, TX - Today, parents and community members in Katy ISD can begin voting on the 2018-2019 school calendar. The district is offering three options for the first and last day of classes.
Option 1
School begins Wednesday, August 15, 2018 and ends Thursday, May 23, 2019. Total of 177 instructional days. This includes a full week off for Thanksgiving
Option 2
School begins Monday. August 13, 2018 and ends Wednesday, May 23, 2019. Total of 178 instructional days. This includes a full week off for Thanksgiving.
Option 3
School begins Monday, August 27, 2018 and ends on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. Total of 178 instructional days. This option includes three days off for Thanksgiving.
Voting begins today, Friday and ends on February 2. The calendar survey will be sent via e-mail.
