One dead following shooting at Beechnut apartment complex

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Houston police are investigating a shooting at a southwest Houston apartment complex.

It happened around 4 p.m. in the 9100 block of Beechnut at the Beechwoods Apartments.

According to police, one person has died from a gunshot wound to the head.

HPD Homicide investigators are on scene.
