NFL star Martellus Bennett tackles stereotypes with children's book

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Martellus Bennett grew up in Alief, Texas and he went on to have a successful career in the NFL, even winning Super Bowl LI with the New England Patriots.

However, he’s not just an athlete, he’s also a children’s author. His latest book, “Dear Black Boy”, tackles the stereotype of young black boys’ expectations of just playing sports.
