National Puppy Day at Space Center Houston

Puppies took over Space Center Houston for the day dedicated to them. The little pets are training to become Guide Dogs for the Blind on National Puppy Day.

120 puppies from all over Texas and the volunteers who are raising them explored Space Center Houston.

Organizers say it is a great outing for the puppies to learn the etiquette and routine of visiting a museum.

Henry Diecker brought his adult guide dog Tony to help train the puppies. He says Tony has changed his life.

Guide Dogs for the Blind Texas Fun Day is a weekend event of educational activities for Texas puppy raisers training them as guide dogs.
