McCain promises probe into Russian hacking allegations in U.S. election
WASHINGTON (AP) — - Sen. John McCain says the Senate Armed Services Committee will go to work "immediately" to investigate allegations that hackers directed by Russia tried to interfere in the U.S. presidential election. The Arizona Republican says the effort will be led by GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and a Democratic co-chair. McCain also said ultimately he'd like the Senate to create a special committee to investigate the allegations.
