Man sleeping under I-10 bridge shot, suspect wanted
HOUSTON - Investigators with the Houston Police Department are trying to find a person accused of shooting a man who was sleeping under I-10 at Hwy. 6 early on Sunday morning.

What we know:
The victim told police he was sleeping under the freeway at I-10 and Hwy. 6 and around 2:30 a.m. he said a person tried to take his backpack.
The victim told police he fought back and that is when he was shot in the leg.
The victim was able to walk to a motel to get help. Emergency responders were able to stop the bleeding, and he was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
What we don't know:
The victim was not able to give a detailed description of the suspect.
Officers are in the area looking for surveillance video
The suspect has not been caught.
