Man found shot in Walmart parking lot, dies

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police are investigating the shooting of a man who was found wounded in a car in a southeast Houston Walmart parking lot and later died.

Officers and firefighters arrived to the parking lot on Rowlett Road near Almeda Genoa Road at around 10:30 p.m. Sunday in response to a reported shooting. They found the man shot inside a red Cadillac car. CPR was administered to him as he was taken by ambulance to Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police say two males were seen traveling away from the parking lot in a white sedan car.
