Man allegedly fatally shot by security guard at club in San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO, Texas - A San Antonio nightclub called it an act of defense and security, but the family of Alfredo Mireles calls it murder.
Now a lawsuit has been filed against Club Essence and DFW security.
The lawsuit says Mireles was in the nightclub back in January with his friends.
That's when a private security officer grabbed one of the men and pulled him outside.
Investigators say Mireles got involved and allegedly put the security guard in a chokehold.
That security guard then shot Mireles in the stomach, according to the lawsuit. He later died.
