Local students show animals at the Galveston County Fair

HITCHCOCK, Texas (FOX 26) - Local students will be showing off their hard work next week at the Galveston County Fair and Rodeo.

FOX 26 Photojournalist Darlene Janik Faires spoke with students at Dickinson High School about the life skills they learn while raising show animals.

This year, the Galveston County Fair and Rodeo will take place from April 21 to April 29 at Jack Brooks Park in Hitchcock, Texas.
