Katy teen in court this morning

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A 19-year-old Katy student will be in court today over an after school fight video surfaced that led to a criminal charge.  He is charged with assault with bodily injury.

The sheriff's office says the video shows him stomping the head of a 17-year-old student.

 Reno is a student at Taylor high school.

 Katy ISD says they do not legally, have disciplinary authority over the situation.
