The intersection of Westheimer and Post Oak is now open after a crane accident temporarily shut down the intersection Sunday morning.

According to the Houston Fire Department, crane workers were attempting to service the sign that hangs over the intersection when one of the cranes fell over, striking a second crane and trapping a worker in the basket. The man was unable to lower himself in the basket, so HFD ladder trucks brought the man down.

The man was transported to the hospital with a back injury. No other injuries were reported.
