Hundreds without power after massive warehouse fire in South Houston

A huge warehouse fire engulfed a warehouse and cut electricity to hundreds of residents in South Houston last night.  The fire erupted at about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday at 100 Spencer Highway in South Houston.

Authorities abandoned warehouse caught fire, and it was extinguished around 1 am in South Houston. The fire then spread to the nearby car dealership. CenterPoint Energy said that power would be restored by 7am.  There was an issue at the beginning of the firefight with low water pressure. The fire affected hundreds of customers in the area near the warehouse. The cause of the fire is under investigation by Arson.
