Houston Technology Center's Annual Innovation Conference

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - More than 75 start-ups are registered to participate at this year's Innovation Conference at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Houston. Stephane Smith is the CEO of Integrated Bionics and is showcasing the Heads Up Headband, a new wearable technology that senses and tracks an athlete's activity. Smith says this is not a medical device but it can hopefully reduce the risk of head injury by tracking the user's performance.
