Houston police search for two men who killed store clerk

A convenience store clerk is dead in Houston. Police need your help catching the two suspects who allegedly shot the man.

Pictures show the men inside the store -- one wearing a red hoodie, the other wearing a dark blue hoodie. Police need your help finding these two men who they say shot and killed a man working inside a convenience store Saturday night on Witte Road.

Sunday night, a vigil was held for that man. His wife Phyllis confirms that his name is Faruk Bhuiya. She says he was a kind and funny man that lit up any room he walked into with his smile. Mrs. Bhuiya said she wants whoever did this to come forward, but she also wants to put out a more positive message.

“If you know who did it or if you did it, I want you to know that I forgive you and I’m not going to carry that hate with me and my husband wouldn't want me to either. He would say forgive them. I don’t have any anger towards them. I'm just hurt that I never get to see him again,” says Phillis Bhuiya.

If you know anything, you're asked to call the Houston Police Department. You can also call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 713-222-TIPS.
