Houston gets ready for Rodeo Houston

From the trail rides to the concert it's rodeo fans are ready for another great season the kick off here in Houston.

David Graham who's the brand manager with Karbach brewing company says, "rodeo upon us and in Houston that's a big tradition so we want to kick things off in her own Karbach way with the rodeo clown round up"

Sunday about 3,000 trail riders from 11 trail rides across the state started their journey to town. In the city Karbach Brewing Company how old it's a rodeo clown around up concert. A day full of food fun and of course big bands like Stoney LaRue and Shooter Jennings.

In honor of everyone's favorite time of the year, we asked which parts of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo they were most excited about.

"The team roping, I have a team toper so it's exciting for me just to see his friends and everything", says Johanna Lucas.

"Bull riding for writing is my favorite part I always want to be able rider when I grow up but I just never had the opportunity to because I was a football player so that's what I did I was off. So I did everything but that but now I kind of want to get into it to see what it's really like", says Lester Simmons.

"You got the cook off which is a fantastic time with unbelievable barbecue and of course letting yourself loose a little bit and then you have the actual rodeo with unbelievable artists and of course the bull riding the calf roping and everything", says Graham.

Of course if you're going to the rodeo, you have to dress the part. "I mean you just Kinda have to go for it whatever you feel interprets rodeo", says Lucas of her cowgirl attire.

Simmons says, "I wear these all year around 365 days out of the year you'll see me and cowboy boots".
