Houston firefighters battle 2-alarm fire at Chinese Consulate
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A fire broke out at the Chinese Consulate in Montrose today, but no one was injured.
Crews were first called to the scene around 1 p.m. on Sunday. Smoke was seen coming from the fifth floor where the blaze is said to have started.
We're told there were lots of people inside, but thankfully everyone was able to make it out safely.
Firefighters say nearly a dozen people actually live in the consulate on the top floor. The cause of the blaze has not been determined.
